Brad Sudol is best known as a master electrician plying his trade in the Philadelphia region, but he actually holds another passion, one that takes up much of his spare time. You see, Brad Sudol has a strong desire to end the scourge of Alzheimer’s in his lifetime. He spends a lot of his time advocating for better medical research and more effective treatment and his work, along with the work of millions of others, have resulted in great strides in treatment.
Alzheimer’s is the most common type of dementia. It occurs in as many as four our of five dementia patients. As a medical condition that causes serious problems with memory, thinking and behavior, it can often have a severe impact on a person’s daily life.While there is currently no cure for Alzheimer’s, the research that has been done so far has led to treatments now available that can help with many of the cognitive and behavioral symptoms and at least help patients maintain their quality of life just a bit longer. Brad Sudol would like to see a cure for Alzheimer’s within his lifetime.
